AIMS 2012
Cooperation is Key

August 23, 2012

As meaningful use (MU) spurs adoption of electronic medical records, anesthesia, which previously hesitated to jump on the bandwagon, has shifted into high gear. KLAS estimates that a 35% increase in contracted organizations has taken place since the 2011 report on anesthesia management systems (AIMS). As remarkable as this sounds, fewer than 300 organizations are using or implementing an AIMS today—leaving many more decisions yet to be made.
