Why do organizations choose standalone EDIS solutions when the trend is to select enterprise vendors that more often provide stronger integration? On the other hand, why do other providers leave behind a much-loved EDIS when the enterprise EDIS solutions they then implement are frequently seen as a step back for clinicians and ED efficiency?
