Women's Imaging - Integration

Recently we wrapped up the research phase of a very comprehensive study involving all aspects of imaging needs for women. We found some interesting parallels with the migration of independent women's breast imaging centers. Many of the independent centers have been absorbed by hospitals, which has created a challenge of integrating modalities and multiple systems. And many of the products they originally purchased for independent centers don't have strong integration capabilities.

Has anyone come across this same dilemma and been able to come up with solutions that can apply to these newly acquired centers?
