A heart attack occurs every 34 seconds, and each minute someone in the United States dies from a heart disease-related event. Statistics like these underline the importance of improving cardiovascular diagnostic tools, and these tools are in more demand than ever. Providers in cardiology are pushing the bounds of what echo ultrasound can do, and vendors have responded by offering several new systems in the past few years.
