July 2026

The market for revenue cycle management (RCM) technology remains highly fragmented, spanning EHR vendors, payer-provider networks, and a wide range of third-party technologies. In response, some vendors have begun offering integrated platforms that combine core capabilities such as claims management, eligibility verification, and related revenue cycle functions. Many of these RCM suites have been built through acquisition, creating broad solution portfolios with varying levels of integration and maturity. As healthcare organizations evaluate whether there is value in going “all in,” they are seeking to understand the strengths and weaknesses of each suite and which vendors deliver the strongest overall experience and partnership. KLAS has yet to validate use of a truly end-to-end solution, so understanding these tradeoffs is critical for organizations making long-term technology decisions.
