The demand for skilled healthcare IT (HIT) talent is surging as healthcare organizations are increasingly relying on sophisticated technologies to deliver effective patient care and manage operations. However, staff shortages—including of HIT professionals—continue to plague the healthcare industry, leading many organizations to turn to HIT staffing firms to access needed skills. Based on perceptions from 173 respondents, this report explores (1) how to select the best firm for your organization, (2) how current clients are utilizing HIT staffing services, and (3) how usage of these services may change in the future.
