Strategic partnerships among provider organizations, payers, and HIT vendors are improving data sharing, operational efficiency, quality of care, and financial performance. KLAS’s annual K2 Collaborative Points of Light awards celebrate such partnerships’ successes—or “points of light”—in lowering costs, streamlining administrative processes, and enhancing the patient, provider, and payer experience. 24 partnerships were awarded a 2026 Points of Light award, and this report showcases their approaches and results as examples of what can be achieved through strong collaboration. To support more effective alignment between payers, providers, and vendors in addressing critical pain points, this Executive Insights section offers a high-level overview of the challenges these award recipients confronted, the outcomes they achieved, and key lessons learned from their efforts. The complete report includes detailed case studies of each partnership.
