  • Craneware is committed to supporting our customers in their organizational response to the COVID-19 crisis. Our commitment is exemplified through our unique ability to help our customers maintain consistent and optimized cash flow through the following:
    • COVID-19 Coding & Billing Requirements: Craneware has provided updated CPT codes (just released by CMS and AMA) for COVID-19 to allow healthcare professionals to correctly and accurately assign and track progression of this disease. Our customers continue to reach out for clarification and best practices surrounding COVID-19 billing & coding practices.
    • COVID-19 Webinars: Craneware has received many questions from our customers about what coding and billing changes are required in response to the COVID-19 crisis. In response to this knowledge gap, Craneware has offered a COVID-19 Webinar to offer our customers timely support and information to help clarify appropriate coding, billing, & documentation practices. Registered customers for this Webinar have exceeded all previous Webinar attendance records. The Webinar and other communications to customers will include information about OPPS Update and new diagnosis and procedure codes for Corona Virus Testing, guidance on DR & CR Modifier use, Telehealth Expansion coverage that include virtual check-ins and E-Visits.
    • Adjunct Staffing Support: Craneware is well-positioned to remotely-assist our customers with Chargemaster (CDM) Management, Go-Live Support for HIS conversions, and any other chargemaster-related initiatives where adjunct staffing may be needed due to high levels of absences.
  • Craneware will continue to monitor published materials related to COVID-19 and will continue to provide our customers with the ongoing support and best-practice advice to help support our customer’s continued success by helping to maintain revenue integrity during this unprecedented time.
