The climate in England is r ipe for change —with nearly 50% of surveyed trusts going to tender in the next 24 months for an EPR solution and another third going to tender by 2015. In addition, 89% were looking to change their patient administrat ion system (PAS) at the same time, with many looking for an integrated EPR/PAS solution. The vast majority of trusts will be contracting directly with their EPR supplier for the software, implementation, and ongoing support. KLAS spoke with approximately 25% of the acute care trusts in England about their upcoming tenders.
