Our Story

Started in 1996 by 4 members of the Healthcare IT (HIT) industry: Kent Gale, Leonard Black, Adam Gale and Scott Holbrook, KLAS was founded with a desire to help providers, and now payers, find transparency in the healthcare IT marketplace. Since KLAS began as a 4-person operation working out of a kitchen, we now have more than 130 employees working to bring data and insights to the market, and shine a light on HIT.
