The recession has hit the healthcare industry like it has the rest of the country. However, the purse strings have loosened some over the last year, and MR is staking its claim on a lot of those dollars. Facilities in the market for an MR must decide between standard 1.5T MR systems, 3T MR systems, and newer wide-bore and high field open (HFO) offerings. Each type of MR has pros and cons, as does each vendor.
