#BestinKLAS TweetChat

KLAS hosted a #BestinKLAS TweetChat discussing key findings from the 2013 Best in KLAS: Software and Services report. 

On January 30 KLAS published the 2013 Best in KLAS: Software and Services report. The annual report recognizes the technology and service organizations that excelled in helping providers deliver better patient care. A week later, on February 7, KLAS hosted a #BestinKLAS TweetChat to discuss some key findings and highlights from this year’s report.

With participation from KLAS researchers, healthcare providers, and vendors, there was a lively discussion on the following topics:

• What new trends did we see in the 2013 Best in KLAS report? How do these impact providers?
• Epic, athenahealth, Cerner, and CareTech Solutions all earned multiple Best in KLAS awards. What differentiates these vendors?
• athenahealth was crowned top Overall Software Vendor. What were providers looking for that gave athenahealth the edge?
• How do the Best in KLAS and Category Leader awards impact vendors? Providers? Overall healthcare community?
