Aligning EHR and Speech Efficiencies to Augment Clinical Documentation Transformation Efforts
BSW’s Medical Group has confronted their self-reported burnout measures and “note bloat” challenges with an initiative to lower the burden of documentation. This has centered around a new APSO progress note template, augmented by strengthened utilization of their enterprise front-end speech solution. Clinical documentation transformation efforts across the last year led to a 12% reduction in note length, 7% reduction in time in notes, and 45 minutes/month/clinician reduction of Inbasket time.
