From Trust to Traction: Building the Net EHR Experience Score Through Clinician-Led Informatics
Northeast Georgia Health System: KLAS Arch Collaborative Learning Summit 2026
Healthcare organizations seek to improve clinician experience and Net EHR Experience Score (NEES), but durable results can be difficult. Drawing on Northeast Georgia Health System’s experience as a CHIME Digital Health Most Wired Level 10 organization with exceptional KLAS Arch Collaborative NEES results, this session reframes NEES as an outcome of culture, governance, reliability, and clinician leadership—not simply an IT metric. Presenters showed how clinician-led governance, nursing engagement, sustained reliability, and disciplined “go and see” practices built trust and measurable traction. They also addressed generative AI, emphasizing that advanced tools create value when layered onto trusted workflows and mature governance. Attendees learned to strengthen trust and leadership alignment, improve workflow fit, sequence AI as an accelerator rather than a substitute for strong foundations, and apply replicable strategies for sustainable NEES improvement across health systems.
