What Bellin Health Did
Bellin Health System (Bellin) uses consistent, expected methods of communicating important information to their clinicians, such as weekly updates and a CMIO newsletter. They also employ various other strategies, such as a shift huddle or notes in the bathroom, depending on the audience and the nature of what is being communicated.
This communication feeds through a process that includes governance groups, operational leaders, optimization specialists, and superusers. All team members play a role in creating and implementing communication plans for each project.
