Can alignment between payers and provider organizations be measured? Can this measurement better align incentives in the market? A helpful measurement must produce “light”— positive transparency driving positive change—but not “heat”—increased friction. Starting in 2021, KLAS began measuring the alignment of five geographical markets and collected insights from payers and provider organizations. Participating organizations will be able to see the feedback that others have provided about them.
